Program Philosophy

Leslie’s Leaping Learners Child Care program is based on the belief that we are an extension of the family. We are strongly committed to working with all children and all families. As early childhood educators, we feel it is critical for us to understand your needs, goals and values, as a parent/guardian, so that we can best serve your child. Our goal is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all children with all abilities, disabilities, special learning needs, special health care needs and developmental needs, social needs, emotional needs, etc. and to build a sense of community among parents, children, and staff.

Each child is regarded as a unique individual. We value and celebrate each child’s interest, primary language, diverse culture, ethnicity, socio- economic status/background and needs. In consideration of the whole child, we strive to nourish the mind, body, and sense of self for continued growth. We welcome you to our child day care program and strongly believe that parents/ guardians are the first and most important teachers of their children.
